Happiness is...
All-inclusive. If there is ever a chance to travel all inclusive... do it. Any meal, any drink, any activity, and you don't have to worry about the price. You've already paid.
I love it. I love not thinking about anything when I'm down there. I love the carefree relaxation that comes with all-inclusive. And I'd recommend it to anyone. Even just once.

Headbands
Happiness is...
Headbands.
Bad hair day? Forget about it. Throw one on and get out there.

Blessed with friends
Happiness is...
The fact that even though things seem to be difficult, there will always be some friend who can help take the load off. Tonight I had a friend cook me dinner knowing that I couldn't do it for myself (this damn apartment!). And that's all it takes to know that God is watching over me, even when the going gets tough.
It's not a great time in my life. But He keeps reminding me there are great things to hold on to! Thank you Sir.

Friends who write
Happiness is...
Friends who write. Blogging is an art that I am certainly no expert at (in case yohttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifu didn't already know), but I have several friends whose blogs I respect completely. They provide a little subtle inspiration, a few choice words, and a heck of a good read.
For example, today, this one.
I like to look at blogs who lay it all out in a simple manner, and allow the internet to be what it was made for: easy. There are few things in modern society that are. Shame.
Due to her, and others in my life, I am Happy.

Hotel Service
Happiness is...
Hotel service. A fresh towel and turned down sheets? Yes please! You can even order food to be delivered, or ask for a razor if you forgot yours. Is it okay if I stay here forever, instead of going back home where I have to make my own bed and clean up after myself? Hmmm.... if only. Ta-ta for now.

Home Early
Happiness is...
Being the first one home on a quiet Tuesday afternoon.
Do you know what that means? It means life has gotten easier, work has gotten better, and most of all it means I win. I get to use this afternoon to do what I please, so there!

Pajama-ish
Happiness is...
Boxers. They're not just a relief for men, they're wonderful jammies. Comfortable in flannel, cotton, or silk, with just a few downfalls....
Why do I need a flap? I simply don't. Why do men need a flap? It still confuses me. I get the whole easy access business, but don't you have to pull your jeans down anyway? Aren't you ever afraid of the zipper? For me, the flap is comic relief, and a reason to not wear these boxers to my aerobic dance class.
What is it about men's bodies that is shaped so differently than mine? When I wear boxers I notice them wide at the butt and tight around my thighs. Since when have guys butts been big?
In any case, I can easily forget these little nuances and enjoy boxers for the exact convenience they are. Goodnight world. Hello PJs. :)

Sleep (more)
Happiness is...
Drifting off to sleep and not realizing it until you wake in the morning fully rested. Who cares, anyway, if you have no agenda? Let the groggy within take you over and fall deep into your sleep, remote in your hand, pillows propped up. There's not a whole lot you can compare to the kind of sleep that just hits you in the middle of whatever you're doing... LET IT.
It's up there with the feeling of finishing your workout without even exerting too much effort, turning off the light without even realizing it, and finding your lunch without a thought. When it's that natural, things are just meant to be. Easy. Simple. Happy.
